DLUR

What has to happen on routers to support DLUR processing. The router is supposed to take snasw and transform it to dlsw and ship it on down to another router that takes the dlsw and changes is to san and ships it to a 3174 controller.

Re: DLUR

SNASw Router always has DLUR processing.

SNASw will use the first APPN Network Node with which it has a static link as the DLU Server for your 3174 controller.

Re: DLUR

3174--DLSW--wan--DLSW/SNASw(DLUR)--ee--VTAM/NNS/DLUS

Is the above an accurate representation of what you want to do? If your question is how do you enable the interconnection of snasw and dlsw in the same router, then the answer is vdlc. If your question is how do you enable the DLUR processing itself, the answer is you get it automatically when you configure snasw cpname and a port/link to an upstream NNS/DLUS.

You can find a simple example at the following url ...

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/tech/tk331/tk336/tech_digest09186a0080091af1.html#wp726255

I say simple example because it shows only one link to an upstream NNS/DLUS, and in most production environments there would be at least two (one primary NNS/DLUS, one backup NNS/DLUS).

Re: DLUR

You are correct on the config, I can't pull up the url for some reason says I need to login which i did but it just goes to the home page. I might not have the level of access needed to pull it up.
