F248 module - GRE support ?

Has anyone implemented GRE on F248 module ?

There is one document which says it is possible with LAN enterprise package:

The release notes does say - GRE is not supported on hardware ...

GRE is not supported, look at the message it gives back when you try out:

pdi-ccie-dc1-1(config)# feature tunnel

Tunnel feature is not supported in F2 only VDC

I guess it is supported with other modules like M1, M2, etc ? correct ?

I couldnt believe, they didnt add GRE to F2 ?

Generally M series modules are used for such scenarios which have all the layer 3 functionality enabled.

Unfortunately there's not workaround and the only solution would be to use M series modules for GRE support.
