failure of a vip farm trigger failover of another farm?

High Level our solution consists of:

TMFarm#1

TMFarm#2

BPFarm#1

BPFarm#2

Long story short - TMFarm#2 is configured as the backup farm for TMFarm#1 but if BPFarm#1 fails (no servers are availble in the farm) i need it to trigger the failover of TMFarm#1 to TMFarm#2...

Is this possible? I guess the general idea is to have BPFarm#1 send an alert of some kind (tcl script?) to TMFarm#1 to have it initiate a failover.

Let me know if anyone has any ideas..

Thanks,

jdr

To use BGP for site-to-site recovery, inject a virtual IP (VIP) as a host route into the routing table. And important advantage of confining the handling of voice and data packets to the VIP is the reduced latency by shortening the processing path .
