Hi,

Can anyone explain the following output on my CIP card:

Router2#sh int ch 3/2

Channel3/2 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is cyBus Channel Interface

Description: SNA / TN3270E Server for Router 2

Internet address is 10.0.12.1/24

MTU 4472 bytes, BW 98304 Kbit, DLY 100 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 106/255

Encapsulation CHANNEL, loopback not set

Virtual interface

Last input 00:08:50, output 00:00:16, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 00:02:34

Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0

Queueing strategy: fifo

Output queue :0/40 (size/max)

5 minute input rate 1459607000 bits/sec, 3405528 packets/sec

5 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec

2 packets input, 91 bytes, 0 no buffer

Received 0 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles

Have a look at the rxload vs th input/output.

Re: High rxload on CIP interface

It looks like a cosmetic bug to me. What is the IOS version?
