I have a 3560 (Version 12.2(25r)SE1) with interfaces which include the command –
mls qos trust dscp
However, I do not see any mapping of dscp to cos. Does this mean that the command gets dropped (ignored) or are there other ramifications? I’ve checked both Cisco and Google for an explanation but I am unable to find an answer. I’d appreciate your help and time. Basically we found this issue while trying to understand why we are getting a timed out error message when our server runs a backup (offsite) and the backup takes more than an hour. I was thinking that would be an application issue, such as tcp timing out when it doesn't see a packet after an hour of session time. We added time to the tcp connection but this is still happening randomly on various servers... Again thanks for your time!
