Installing a cisco 3015 concentrator behind cisco pix

other than reviewing the 3015 VPN concentrator notes/pdf, what are the steps to install the 3015 when you have a 506e cisco pix as your F/W? also, there are 75+ users connected to several cisco catalyst 2960-48TT switches, how do these switches connect so that the VPN users connect via the catalyst?

I would suggest to check out the exact placement of the concentrator like where you are going to place it either in inside or outside or in seperate DMZ.

If you have something in mind chalked out already you can post out here coz that is related to enabling the access on the PIX as well as for the remote vpn users who all are going to connect to this concentrator.

after further review the 3015 concentrator is going to replace the 506e PIX. the concentrator will act as a F/W and VPN access, with better security and management. thx.

Hi

In that case you need to bring one of the concentrator interface on public network which is configured in your PIX outside interface.

You can very well bring the other interface on the local lan subnet block of your network and start configuring it for the necessary RAVPN access.
