Layer 3 Design with Nexus 5500 Platform and 2000 Series FEX

Hi, all

I would like to provide a vPC topology having the fewest SFP modules for connecting to external gateway devices.
First, please see attached PNG file.
The topology A is needed four SFP modules on N55, and the topology B is also needed four SFPs.
However, If the gateway routers are able to connect to N2248TP FEX HIF, the topology C, SFP module is not needed.
Can I select the topology C for SFP module-less?

In my opinion C is optimal. It's pointless to utilize 10G ports on N5k with 1G SFP's.

I guess You only need 1G to connect to your routers?
