I noticed on our switches that the ones that have CatOS on them are using the mgmt port on the supervisor engine (sc0). However, the ones running IOS are just using a port on a normal blade and is seperately configured. I was wondering, shouldnt we be able to use the supervisor 's mgmt port on the IOS switches?
I think you'd have better response to this question if you moved it over to the Network Infrastructure section, probably LAN or WAN switching. This topic is for SNA, so the people following this topic don't really have the expertise in the CatOS/IOS differences to help you.
