multicast on 4506

my 4506 switches were not able to multicast the traffic in the local LAN .so we had to bypass the cisco 4506 switches.

Could you check if the switch is running IGMP snooping? If yes, it won't flood your multicast excepted if you have a router configured with igmp/pim on this LAN.
