N7K Queuing

Hi.. I have N7K running 4.2(6). For egress queuing, the only option is to match based on CoS. i.e, allocate bandwidth based on CoS value. If the incoming packets to the N7K does not have a CoS value (e.g, a server access port directly connected to the N7K), the packets will be placed in the default class at  egress queue even though the incoming packet has DSCP value of higher classes (EF, CS3 etc). Packets incoming from N5K to N7K is ok because we can configure the N5K to set the CoS value before passing to N7K. N7K then uses that CoS value to do egress queuing. Any comments greatly appreciated. Thanks Eng Wee
