Nexus 5000 Maximum Etherchannel question

I noticed that the documents say that the 5000 has a maximum number of 16 EtherChannels.  Does this include vPCs? or are these counted seperately?

Re: Nexus 5000 Maximum Etherchannel question

I think the documentation is talking about the maximum links in etherchannel which are 16. Can you please post the documentaion link for review.

However for vPC with Nexus 2000 and staight through design you can go up tomaximum 480 vPCs (each vPC has 2 ports for sever connectivity ) .

Thanks

Re: Nexus 5000 Maximum Etherchannel question

Here is the proper information:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps9441/ps9670/white_paper_c11-462176.html

There is a maximum of 16 on the current hardware.

Newer hardware will support more.
