NEXUS 7000 and 5000 for internet connectivity

Can we use Nexus 5000 and 7000 for WAN connectivity and Internet Services from ISP at collapsed core distribution layer.

What layer 3 features are supported by both devices with ADV lan Enterprise License.

Re: NEXUS 7000 and 5000 for internet connectivity

The Nexus 5000 and 7000 are not really desigend as WAN termination or ISP connectivity. The Cisco ASR or 7600 would most likely be a better platform for this requirement. The Nexus 5000 by design is a Layer 2 switch. The Nexus 7000 does have rich Layer 3 features including dynamic routing and PBR, but again a ASR or 7600 is probably a better choice.
