Odd number of vPC links?

I can't seem to find the answer so I thought I would ask here.

I know you can have an odd number of ethernet ports between two switches on a standard Port-Channel/EtherChannel.

Can you have and odd number of Ethernet Ports in a vPC arrangement?  Something like this. (Please excuse the crude drawing)

--------------

|        7     |                                        |-------------|

|        K     |--------------------------------|    S         |

|        a     |--------------------------------|     E         |

-------------                                         |     V        |

        ||                                                 |     E        |

--------------                                        |    R         |

|       7      |--------------------------------|                |

|       K      |                                        |                |

|       b      |                                         |------------|

-------------

The reason is to have higher bandwidth to the server which is our backup server.

Thanks!

Odd number of vPC links?

You can but it is not recommended. For example, lets say 7Kb sees ingress traffic destined to server more than the link bandwidth to server, excess traffic will be dropped.
