Simple hosting setup

hi,

i have no experience in hosting stuff and i have a project to start the hosting operations for some clients... for a start, the basic things like web, ftp, mail server. what kind of routers, switches do i need? and what are the suggestions for the network setup?

Commonly only connect to Internet, if you can do it by ethernet, than you need only Linux host (for example). The router/switch equipment can depends. Write me some more about your internet connection and needs and i try write some words about it (rv@tacppd.org)
