SNASw impact of using no-limres on vnname

Current configuration of SNASw has a number of uplink, downlink port definitions. None of them has no-limres defined.

Due to a problem when connecting to CICS with LU 6.2 i need to add no-limres to our connection network definition.

Will this have any other impact except for NOT turning on the limited resource bit in the SNA Session Bind.

Proposed change is from

snasw port HPRIP hpr-ip Loopback1 vnname xx.yy

to

snasw port HPRIP hpr-ip Loopback1 vnname xx.yy no-limres

Re: SNASw impact of using no-limres on vnname

There is no negative side-effect to adding the no-limres keyword if they don't have it already. But they also should

check what the DISCNT value is for the matching PU on VTAM (anysetting other than DISCNT=NO can cause the same symptoms as running without the no-limres keyword on snaswitch.Refer URL for more info on limres command
