Tape Drive UCS Integration

Hello Everyone,

 

Kindly I need help here, I’m trying to install SAS module in the UCS servers, so I need to check the compatibility of this part number (P/N :- G164P) with “Cisco UCSC-C220-M4 with Intel CPU v4 and Vmware ESXI 6.x”

The details of the and tape drive is below :-

Tape Drive : Dell Power Vault LT05

Ive searched Cisco documents & could not find anything related to this

That looks like a Dell SAS HBA part number so it wouldn't be something Cisco has validated

 

If you look at the spec sheet the only external SAS HBA we have certified with the C220 M4 is the UCSC-SAS9300-8E

This Dell SAS module is not fitting the server, however ill provide the the proper UCS model which support  SAS.
