Using same XCA adapter number in a 7500

Can customer define 2 XCA major nodes with same adapter number in a host connected to a CIP of a 7500? Assuming we have defined 2 LAN adapters of same number in the CIP virtual tokenring interface, how can it identify which adapter is to be active when one of the XCA major nodes is activated?

It is not supported. If a CIP connects to 2 XCA major nodes, the 2 XCA major nodes have to has unique adapter number.

You can have 2 XCA major nodes pointing to the same adapter number so long as they use different SAP values but you cannot have multiple adapters with the same adapter number on the same CIP interface.
