VS-S720-10G & VSS using supervisor Ports for Server?

Hi all,

We use the SUP VS-S720-10G in our 65k which is configured as VSS.

For the VSS Channel we use one 10Gbit from SUP and one from 10Gbit Line Card.

Now we would like connect a WLC but there are no SFP Ports in the 65k.

Sure, we can buy two Linecards, but just for 2 Ports?

Is it poossible to use the SFP Port of the both SUP like a normal port to configure a channel and connect the WLC?

I'm not really sure if that will work or if I will run in problems.

Hi Sebastian,

Yes, it's possible to use SFP Portas from ACTIVE chassi and STANDBY chassi.
