Why does the router consider the VoiceEncapPeer an interface

I have MC3810 and 26xx routers running VOFR and VOIP. My network management stations sees the VoiceEncapPeer and VoiceIPPeer go down and then back up. Are these actual interfaces and what is causing the peer to flap.

Re: Why does the router consider the VoiceEncapPeer an interface

If this is what you management station says, then the

only option is someone did a shutdown , no shutdown on the

dial-peer for vofr and voip.

Interface up/down does not affect the admin or operational state

of voice dial-peers.
