Cisco WS-C3650 default web username and password

1. Hi, for a new Cisco WS-C3650 switch, what are the username and password on the web interface? I could ping the Cisco switch ip address, but I could not login the system via the web interface. I tried obvious user names/passwords, but none worked. Thanks.

The very first time I think the password is "cisco" with no username.

This might be a temporary account, so it may delete it on the first use.  If the account is deleted you may need to create a new one via the CLI.

Hi, thanks. I did try 'cisco' without username. It still failed. I just opened the box and it was supposed to be a brand new switch.

Use the safe option, and plug into the console port and configure a username and enable password by hand.

enable secret <password>
username <username> priv 15 secret <password>
