I have a NSS4000 that I am using as a NAS. I am trying to ftp files to the NSS4000. The "ftp" starts and it transfers files at about 10MB/sec. Then, it will just stop writing for a few seconds and continue to ftp for a few seconds and then stops again. I have the NSS configured as RAID5. I have isolated the issue to be an NSS4000 issue. I have the NSS4000 and my laptop on the same ethernet switch running 100MB/s. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
