NSS4000 - lost volumes, can't access data

Please help us to solve an issue which has occured on an NSS4000 NAS device.
We had firmware version 1.2 on the NAS, and there were two 160GB HDD in
it (RAID1). We would like to expand the capacity of the NAS, so we put
two 1TB HDD into the empty slots (RAID1), and upgraded the firmware to 1.6.
During this maintenance, we had to pull out one of the 160GB HDDs. After
we inserted the same drive back, de NAS said: RAID A is working in
degraded mode.
We could not unlock the volumes, so we tried to add the removed disk to
the RAID array again.
The NAS started to resync, but after it has finished, we could not see
any volume on the array. We can't access the data.

Thx
