Best way of connecting 2 srp527w networks

Hi, il try and keep this short and simple.

Network layout:

1 building - 2 companies - 2 networks both usung srp527w router and dumb switches.

Company A wants access to company B printer.

I understand VLAN routing cant be done with these types of routers.

Would a layer 2 switch bringing in 2 VLAN's from both companies allow networks to communicate?

Or can some suggest a method to do this?
