I'm currently using a Linksys EA4500 for wireless connectivity behind my AT&T Uvers Residential gateway. I would like to put VPN functionality in, and am looking at using either the RV180 with the EA4500, or the RV180W replacing the EA4500. How does wireless transmit power and overall throughput compare between the RV180W and the EA4500? I can find transmit spects for the RV180W, but not for the EA4500. Also, is there any chance the EA4500 could be deployed as a WDS extender for the RV180W? One blogger claimed it worked fine, but many others claimed the EA4500 would not support WDS.
