Config Question

Client has 3 offices each with their own internet connection on WAN1 of a RV325

Client has just gotten a VPSL installed by the ISP

Client would like the VPSL to connect the offices over WAN2

Internal IP struture is as listed with DHCP enabled at each location

Office #1    192.168.1.1

Office #2    192.168.2.1

Offfice #3   192.168.4.1

Current setup is a VPN between each location we would like to remove the VPN and go with the VPSL over WAN2 at each location. The internal IP setup needs to remain in place due to existing installs both hardware and software.

I can get any 2 offices to use the VPSL setting the WAN2 port to static, assigning an IP and setting the gateway as the IP of the WAN2 of the target office and static routes. The problem comes with what settings to use to get all three offices talking?

THanks

So each site will have a different static VPLS IP address.  You need to add a static route for each remote sites LAN address range via its VPLS IP address.

The default route should be left pointing out to the Internet for Internet access.

I have assigned each WAN2 its own static VPLS IP of 192.168.200.1, 192.168.200.2, 192.168.200.4 my big question is what to assign as gateway for the WAN2.

Static routes work when I only connect 2 of the 3 locations and assign the opposing WAN2 static IP as the gateway ie.

Location #1

WAN2 IP 192.168.200.1

Gate 192.168.200.2

Location #2

WAN2 IP 192.168.200.2

Gate 192.168.200.1

Set static routes and traffic flows

Just not sure what to set the gateways at when I add in the third location.

You should not use a gateway on WAN2.  Leave it blank.  Only use static routes.

If it wont let you do this then the RV325 is not going to do the job.
