I did not find, whether anyone discussed this problem:
I upgraded my old firewall/gateway AirLive RS-2000 to the new Cisco SB RV325. I have about 40 PCs on the LAN, about half of them get the IP from DHCP of the gateway. Before the change, everything worked fine (the DHCP on AirLive), but after swapping to Cisco, I realised, that 3 of my pcs can't get the IP ... All the other PCs work fine. One of these "trouble" PCs is a notebook (HP Envy TouchSmart) with Intel Centrino Wifi & LAN. I tried both adapters, but both have the same trouble - don't get the IP associated from RV325 (and cannot access the internet of course). BUT, when I try to connect to a wifi network hosted by my HTC smartphone, it works fine - IP is associated flawlessly. When I set the IP manually, the "trouble" PC works without any problem on RV325 network and internet runs fine.
I really cannot understand WHY this happens, and what is the point of this ... At the moment, I sit on another notebook which works without a trouble and receives the IP correctly...
Did anybody solve a similar problem?
