Establish VPN PPTE Connection Using Cisco RVS4000 & Windows Server Essential 2012R2

What is the detailed procedure to establish a PPTE VPN connection between a Client using Windows 8.1, the client connected to a generic router, the generic router connected to an RVS4000 router via the internet and finally the RVS4000 router connected to a Server using Windows Server Essential 2012R2? The intention is to have the Client Computer operate remotely and connect to data files on the server . The server is a Dell T320 with two NIC ports.

Al,

I'm guessing that you mean PPTP. The RVS4000 doesn't have a PPTP server so you just need to enable VPN Passthrough and forward port 1723 TCP to the Windows server. Configure the Windows server to act as the PPTP VPN server and you should be able to connect to it.
