Hi
I am hoping someone can help me. I have been experiencing internet connectivity issues with my provider, which somehow manage to resolve themselves. However everytime I have spoken to my provider and they ask me for the IP address my router is connected too, I can not find where on the router configuration page I find this information. I can find it on other routers I use but not on this Cisco router. I hope this is a nice easy one and look forward to your help
Regards

Hi,
You should be able to access this information easily enough.
From a PC connected to the LAN, access the management web interface, which by default is at: http://192.168.15.1.
In the following cases, my lab SRP has been assigned the address 192.168.200.162/30.
If you are able to log in as admin (default password admin), then the information that you need is on the Interface Setup > Internet Setup page. - This is also available if you log in as username cisco, default password cisco, then click on Advanced in the top right hand corner of the wizard screen.
You can also see the information on the Status > Interface Information page:
Also, if you prefer to use the XML API interface, then access with the status page using the following URL:
http://192.168.15.1/admin/status.xml&xuser=admin&xpassword=admin
The address information can be found within:
If you don't have access to the router GUI and the router is configured as a typical Internet Gateway, then you could always access a site like http://www.ip-lookup.net/. This will show you the public IP address that your router is using.
Hope that helps,
Andy
