I am trying to configure a peer to Peer tunnel between a linksys RVL 200 and a netgear FVS336G an I have some problem.
I have configured the VPN settings on both side with dynamic IP +FDQN because I am using dyndns. the other VPN settings are similar for the encrption and the subnets.
when I try to initiate a tunnel from the netgear I can see:
IKE packet sent fron the netgear to the RVL200
I can see these packets in the FW log of the RVL 200 arriving and being accepted
then there are these 4 entries in the VPN log :
VPN Log initial Aggressive Mode message from X.X.X.X but no (wildcard) connection has been configured Oct 18 21:04:13 2010 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] <<< Responder Received Aggressive Mode 1st packet Oct 18 21:04:13 2010 VPN Log Ignoring Vendor ID payload [3b9031dce4fcf88b...] Oct 18 21:04:13 2010 VPN Log Ignoring Vendor ID payload [810fa565f8ab1436...]
after that I see no IKE packet going out of the RVL 200.
the message are not really clear to me.
I search the internet but could not find some helpfull information.
