I currently have a trial version of Protectlink running on oiur RV220W wireless N network security firewall. I have set up several URL filtering categories and tested them to ensure they work (IE aution site - Ebay.ca & Ebay.com). Both of them get blocked by protectlink when it is selected in the filtering, however they do not get added to the "instances blocked" count. they also are not getting thrown into the syslog on our syslog server (Splunk). i have enabled the remote logging to the proper server because i am getting other logging information from the router, but the blocked events are not coming through. like i said the web sites ARE getting blocked in the browser, however they are not getting added in the "instances blocked" calculation OR getting sent to the syslog. Are there any other setting that i need to do so that these will get added? I would like to be able to create a report on how much this technology is actually getting used.
