Router to make active

       We have 2 router which having same IOS and same configuration . There isn't any dynamic protocol is configured ,  how to make one router as active and another as standby

       thanks for your reply , just clarify me for enabling HSRP , we required to run any Dynamic protocol or not.

Thanks , there isnot required any dynamic routing protocol to activate HSRP
