RV042 Load Balance not working?

I have set up an RV042 v1 and v3 both in Load Balancing mode.  Set in Router mode.

I want one of the WAN ports to be preferred so I added a static route to 0.0.0.0 metric 5 to that WAN.

Sometimes the route shows in the routing table and sometimes it goes away!!

Seems very odd.

Fred,

You don't need to add default static route on these routers as it will conflict. If there is a WAN address active on RV042 the router will specify that WAN address as default route automatically. If they are two wan address then it will load (round robin) balance between the two.

RV042 Load Balance not working?

Well, I'm only using Load Balancing because I was having trouble with failover.  One pipe is much larger than the other so it is preferred for all traffic.  Thus the "need" part.  But, if there is some issue with doing this then ... ?

I rather expect BOTH WAN interfaces to be "active" but do you mean by this "selected by the load balancer"?

Thanks for the quick reply!
