rv042 pre-sales dual-wan failover question

after studying the manual, the following is unclear to me:

  1. can i configure both wan1 and wan2 to ping a host out on the internet to verify connectivity (it could be that upstream ISP hops are up, but ISP as a whole does not have internet access)?
  2. is pinging the only way to verify connectivity (if ICMP is blocked, i would rather have a tcp connection or even an HTTP one)?
  3. after fail-over, will fail-back happen automatically to a primary connection, once it becomes available again?
  4. is there any configuration to control flapping after failover?
  5. can i be notified after each fail-over/fail-back event (ideally, an email)?

thank you.
