RV042 VPN Issue

I have a customer who has multiple subnets.  a 192.x and a 172.x on the RV042.  The primary (dhcp) subnet is the 192.x subnet.  I would like to setup VPN into the RV042 for clients, but give them a 172 address when connecting.  Is there any way to make this happen, or is this just a limitation with only able to give out one range for dhcp?

Thanks!

RV042 VPN Issue

Frank,

The short is no you can not create this configuration on the RV042. With VPN connections such as Quickvpn a client is not assigned an IP address upon connecting. With PPtP and SSL vpn users are given an IP address from a predetermined DHCP pool, but it can not be within the range of any of the IP interfaces on the router. There may be a workaround to allow remote clients access to your other VLAN, however. What exactly are you trying to setup?
