Angel,

First problem - your wan address isn't public therefore you’re creating a double NAT situation. since both wan and Lan is private you will need to make sure your router in front of the RV0xx is forwarding all ports to RV0xx and IPSec pass-through is enabled. Also make sure NAT-T is enabled on RV0xx. It’s best and easiest if the RV0xx has public IP address.

Even though it’s not a supported configuration I have seen this type of setup work. It all depends on setup of your Gateway router.

Hope this helps,

Jasbryan

Dear Jasbryan:

Do you mean that in order to avoid the double NAT feature I need to setup my ADSL routers to be PPPoE bridges instead of the routing PPPoA mode I am using right now?

Angel,

Yes, the modem will have to be turned into a bridge. You might be able to get the ISP to make the change or provide instructions, if you need them.

Hope this helps,

Angel,

Yes randy is correct - you will need to get your isp to put the modem's in bridge mode, ISP usually don't like to do this especially if there is 3rd party router behind theirs, what i have told my customers; was just to tell your ISP that your computer needs to have a public ip address. After they assist you in getting that information properly set up: make sure you write down your Username and password for the PPPoE authentication. We can take that information, delete it from your computer and change the WAN information on RV0xx router to complete your setup. Now you reconfigure tunnel setting using your public ip address.

Hope this helps,

Jasbryan

Dear Jasbryan ,

I tried communicating with my ISP  to Convert my ADSL Router to Bridge Mode and they Refused. So i am stuck with the Double NAT issue. I noticed that you mentioned in your first reply to Angel that Such Double NAT Configuration is NOT Supported , although it is mentioned in the Administration Guide of the RV-042 V3 Under the following Section { Gateway-to-Gateway Configuration / Dynamic IP Address for the Gateway } Page 159... Do you mean that Cisco does NOT Support the Double NAT Setup ??
