RV042G and DHCP server

Hi,

Does the RV042G support acting as a DHCP-server on several VLANs (or only one)?

Im going to configure three separate VLANs (no routing in between) and want the router to be able to provide addresses on all three VLANs (different subnets). Can the RV042G do the job?

Appreciate any input

/Claes

Hi,

No,DHCP will not work other 2 VLANs.Only primary LAN will act as DHCP server in RV042.

Seriously, what happened to Cisco?

The first gen of RV042 was fully configurable, the G generation don't have even the half of possibilities than the previous one.

I'm very disappointed. Networking doesn't means Wizards and easy to use Web GUIs

Terrific... seems like the RV180 router will provide the features im looking for (based on the other forum post).
