I need to connect an RV082 to an new modem/router that has an active dhcp server. So far, I changed the gateway setting to router and dhcp-server to dhcp-relay and added the IP-address (192.168.0.1) of the modem. Now, apart from the WAN-connection that gets an IP address from the modem, no other deivce connected to the RV082 gets an IP address. I did change the IP address of the RV082 from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.2.
What should I do to get the dhcp-relay working? It's firmware is from 2012.
Thanks for your response. The router and modem are 2 floors apart. The UTP cable goes from a modem LAN port to the router WAN port. This WAN port gets an IP address from the modem. More suggestions are welcome.
