So I have two issues, and I'll post the error log and talk about what I've done.

Okay so I generated a CLIENT certificate with .pem extension and it is correctly in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco Small Business\QuickVPN Client" and I still get certificate issues. I searched online and found this resource http://blog.mpecsinc.ca/2012/07/cisco-quickvpn-client-error-server.html and I generated a certificate from the router using that method and still, I get the same issue.
As for the gateway issue, I found this: https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/124251/remote-vpn-tunnel and all my settings are identical. No results.
