RV180W doesn't do Firmware Upgrade / IPSec VPN with Windows 7?

Hi ppl,

today I got my RV180W - I wanted to update the firmware from 1.0.0.30 to 1.0.1.9 or 1.0.2.6 - but both don't work. It seems like the router does the upgrade but after the restart I still have 1.0.0.30 on the router...

And I have another question - is it possible to connect to the router via IPSec and Windows 7? I found another thread which says no but Windows 7 should be capabable of doing IPSec connections? I don't want to use a separate software nor do I like to use PPTP.

I suggest calling Cisco Customer Support at your country and registering a case.
