RV220W IPSEC gateway-gateway traffic routing

Hello Everyone,

I've been pouring through the forums in the hope of solving a problem that probably stems from my lack of knowledge! - please help if you can

I have purchased 2 x RV220W routers and want to setup a very basic gateway-gateway network that routes all internet requests to the second site

Configuration:

Site 1

100Mbs Fibre (DDNS address) - RV220W serving DHCP clients 192.168.1.0

Site 2

1Gbps FIbre (DDNS address) - RV220W service clients 192.168.5.0

I've setup the VPN tunnel using the advanced VPN settings (with FQDN via DDNS on both ends) - VPN shows as 'SA Established'

I can ping hosts on both subnets - so connection is working.

Now..

I need all traffic from Site 1 to route to Site 2 - i.e. not just route 192.168.5.0 traffic to Site 1, but all..

I just can't seem to do this (and can't add a static route for 0.0.0.0)

It's something simple right? and probably in front of my eyes!..

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Best regards,

Alan

RV220W does not support the scenario - the site-to-site VPN tunnel is a always a split tunnel.

Thanks for the info.

So one further question if I may

In order to achieve my requirements in the original question - do I need to replace both routers or just one? and if so, do you have any recommendations (I looked at the WVS4400N but it appears to limit VPN to 2Mbps?)

Many thanks,

Alan

I know it can be achieved with a pair of RV042 routers.
