With this router model, there is not the option to use custom dns on the wan if your getting your ip address dynamically. In order to implement the static dns you would need to implement a static ip address on this router. However any of the rv042, rv082 and rv016 routers will allow that function. Static/Custom DNS server can be specified in the Setup>LAN page. If the DHCP Server is enabled, the DHCP clients will get that info and use it for DNS resolution.
absolutely but it's not a problem on the LAN but rather on internet. Because the router knows every address it assigns on my LAN but it needs informations for corresponding name and ip over internet: the reason to be of the DNS.
