My RVS 4000 v1 router firmware version 18.104.22.168 has been intermittendly going off-line ... a reset of the power resolves the issue temporarly. My plan was to update the firmware but I haven't been able to download an uncorrupted version of the firmware file on the Cisco support site. The file downloads as a zip file but the winzip program says that the file is not in a valid zip format and cannot open it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
The firmware files for the RVS4000 are small (~8 MB) and they are not zipped, they are 'img' files. Could be that your computer is trying to treat them as a zip file; but just download, save and then upload to the router.
