RVS4000 vpn from remote station

Hi everyone,

I have rvs4000 on a site and I'm trying to setup a vpn to acces my workstation from everywhere on my laptop.

I always get this error message : failed to etablish connection

information :

version : 2.0.3.2

quickvpn : 1.4.2.1

firewall : disable

block wan resquest : disable

mode : gateway

mtu : manual, size : 1453

Would you please help me?

RVS4000 vpn from remote station

Dear Jonathan,

Thank you for reaching Small Business Support Community.

I would first suggest you to double check on the RVS4000 VPN client account (VPN > VPN Client Accounts).

I then suggest you to uninstall/install and run the Cisco QuickVPN client on your laptop, check on Apendix A on the Application Note;

Notice that if your RVS4000 has a xDSL or cable modem in front of it, you must enable VPN passthrough on that device.  Please contact your ISP if you require assistance doing so.
