I'm sorry if this has been brought up but after scouring google for two days and half a bottle of advil(from the headache). I have resorted to asking for help form the cisco gurus. The situation is I have two rv082s running latest firmware 220.127.116.11-tm or something to that nature. They are connected to cable modems from the same isp on both sides, Ive talked to my isp and they have said they do no block ipsec either. We have a nas at the location i am at for offsite backup data from the sql server and what not. The ipsec connects on the routers, how ever i cannot access the other lan, cannot ping the other router.
the password is obviously going to be different but for immediate purposes i figure ugly was fine, the lans are
lan b is a buisness network with manually configured ips(dhcp not active)
how ever i can ping the internal lan from each of the routers for example
router a can ping router a internal computers
router a or b cannot ping eachother or internal networks
heres the firewall config its the same on both ends
Here is a copy of the log as well
The problem is i cant ping or access the other network watch lanb ping lana
THank you for any help in advance
After talking with cisco support we were able to get lanb to ping lan a, how ever since dhcp is not enabled on the lan b im not able to access that network. Im not sure if this is the case or not, could I use the dns server built in without the dhcp or perhaps forward another dns? we got lanb to talk to lana by changing the subnet to 255.255.255.0 from 255.255.255.224. However the lan is a 255.255.255.224 network...
