VPN problem with RV042G

hello,

I have an static ip in my office and i want to create a vpn tunel but in QuickVPN i am getting --> Failed to Ping remote VPN Router

I have also a dynamic ip and  i have the same error can some one help me?

Router: RV042G

WAN

IP Address: 192.168.0.17

GateWay: 198.168.0.1

Lan settings: 192.168.50.1

Hi Ivan,

From the information on RV042G I suppose you have another router front of RV042G because you have a private IP address on the WAN of RV042G , to have Qvpn working just redirect the following port for IPsec 500,4500 UDP and 443 TCP to 192.168.0.17 (WAN IP address of RV042G )

and from the client it self on address server put the public IP address

Some other information related to Windows :

If the client trying to access from Windows 7 or 8 or Vista you need to have firewall enable

If the client trying to access from Windows XP you need to have the firewall disable

Thanks a lot for the answer, now i can connect to mi VPN from my home, but only one client its allow to connect at the same time, i have already added two more vpn clients in the router but it doest let me connect.

I have 2 computers in my home and two users for the VPN

Computer 1 and 2 : Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bits SP1
