Re: Can the SA520 be set for Policy Based Routing?
SA5xx support Static and RIP V1 and V2 routing. No other dynamic protocols.
It does offer an option for dual WAN which can be used for load balancing or failover.
If you enabled load balancing for the ISP links on your Dedicated WAN and your Optional WAN, then you can use protocol bindings to bind different protocols to each link. This feature can be used to segregate traffic between links that are not of the same speed. High volume traffic can be routed through the port connected to a high speed link and low volume traffic can be routed through the port connected to the slow link. For example, you can bind the HTTP protocol the Dedicated WAN and bind the FTP protocol to the Optional WAN.
