error when setting IPv4 WAN Configuration on SA520

I get this error when setting the IPv4 WAN configuration using the SA520 router.

"IP/Subnet error: Subnet Octet 3 should be 255 for class C"

Using ip/subnet information from my isp.

subnet: 255.255.254.0

What does this mean? that the router does not support the subnet?

Re: error when setting IPv4 WAN Configuration on SA520

Hi nandreassen,

There should be no problem configuring ip/subnet on WAN IPv4 configuration.

Can you send me the ip address in a private message to me? or you can email me to biraja@cisco.com.

The error indicates that you must be using class C ip with 255.255.254.0 mask.

Thanks,

Biraja
