I am trying to get our 50 cisco phones not to request an IP address twice a day even though the DHCP settings are set to 1d and 12h. I have been hunting around the web to figure out how to extend the DHCP lease time to be more than 1d 24h 59m, on other cisco equipment you can set an infinite option.
The max DHCP lease time is 1d 24h 59m as you have already discovered. The phones should renew their lease before the time is up, but if you have the lease set to 1d 12h, they shouldn't be renewing twice a day. Are all phones renewing their DHCP twice a day? Do they do it at the same time? How are they connected to the ISA?
