SA 520 L2L VPN

I have two SA520's and setup a VPN between the two.  The tunnel is up and I can see both are transmitting data, but can't see if the other end is receiving.  The ipsec status only has transmit stats.  I also can't ping across the tunnel to hosts.

Is there something I miss where I need to put in a NAT exemption or something?

Is there a status page that has Tx AND Rx, not just Tx?

Re: SA 520 L2L VPN

Matt,

What are you trying to ping on the remote network?  Does that device have a firewall?  If so, please disable the firewall.

Can you ping the remote gateway?

Jason

Re: SA 520 L2L VPN

Thanks for the reply.  Turned out to be an ISP problem even though P1 and P2 completed successfully.  Replaced the gateway, reset twice, rebuilt the VPN tunnel and everything worked.
