We have an SA540 that we've been successfully using with SSL VPN for a couple of months now (don't ask about QuickVPN.)
While everything is working fine for our uses, we can't seem to understand why DNS isn't working. When I connect via SA540 and then run RDP to connect to an internal system, I have to enter the IP address. If I use the machine name, it always fails to resolve and I don't know why. The SA540 is aware of our DNS server and DNS Proxy is checked under Networking - LAN - IPv4 Config.
Re: SA540: Can't get DNS working, can't resolve names
Sorry, don't worry about it. We got it working a little while back. We had missed one of the DNS settings for the SSL VPN clients. DNS is DNS and it confused us that we had to set the exact same thing in two separate places in the config.
